I close my eyes and I see your face
behind a misty curtain that I can not wipe away
In darkness I walk reaching out
but you are not there
silence that goes on forever
interrupted by sobs that wrack my body
Falling, falling down forever
I cry until I have no voice left
crying still in silence now
I weep until the tears are dry
You are gone. The tears did not bring you back.
My cries you did not answer
Only then do I know
that life can not be, without loss
